Product Lead Mastery Path

Mastery Path
BOOTCAMP

A structured, module-wise training program for leading product teams — taking you from your first stretch assignment managing other PMs all the way to CPO-level org design and strategy — with real frameworks, templates, and a hands-on deliverable at the end of each level.

This track is about leading product people, not being one

This site is for Product Leads, Heads of Product, Group PMs, and aspiring CPOs — the people-leadership and org-design track for those managing other product managers. If you're looking for the individual-contributor skill set instead (discovery, roadmapping, writing specs, shipping features as a single PM), see the companion Product Manager Mastery Path — that track covers the IC job this one assumes you've already done.

How the program is organized

Level Focus Modules
Level 1 · Entry Making the jump from IC PM to leading a team 9 topics + 1 project
Level 2 · Intermediate Leading multiple squads, hiring, coaching, managing up 9 topics + 1 project
Level 3 · Advanced Head of Product: portfolios, org design, board communication 9 topics + 1 project
Level 4 · Master VP/CPO-level strategy, org-building, and legacy 9 topics + 1 capstone

How to use this site

  • Work through each level in order — later modules assume you've done the earlier ones and built on their deliverables.
  • Every topic page gives you a real framework or template (as a table or worked structure, not code) plus a concrete worked example.
  • Each topic ends with an Exercise — a practical deliverable you produce, not just a quiz.
  • Each level ends with a project that combines everything learned in that level into one real artifact: a team charter, a hiring plan, an org design, or a full strategy document.
  • Use the search bar (top of the page) to jump straight to a topic.

What you'll need

No tools or subscriptions — just a willingness to draft real documents (team charters, org charts, hiring plans, strategy memos) as you go. Every exercise produces something you could genuinely hand to your own team or manager.
